Job summary

Rose Hills is seeking a compassionate front desk receptionist to greet grieving families, manage the arrangement desk, and support arrangement directors. The role requires warmth, diplomacy, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.

You will handle calls, schedule appointments, prepare information folders, and guide families to viewing rooms and interment locations. Some college or reception experience preferred, with standard business hours and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Two years in a fast-paced customer service environment with warmth and compassion.

• Reception experience helpful.
• Some college classes or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Arrangement Desk and reception areas, keeping them clean and professional.
• Present warmth, compassion, empathy, and diplomacy to grieving family members and guests.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Greet families and schedule appointments.
• Explain features and benefits of the Dignity Family Assistance Portfolio.
• Prepare information folders and distribute to families.
• Direct families to viewing rooms and chapels.
• Insure visitation rooms are prepared to receive families.
• Print and distribute daily reports.
• Inventory and order supplies.
• Maintain coffee service for families and guests.
