Job summary

Breckenridge Village in Tyler, TX seeks an EMT-PRN to provide short-term, as-needed medical coverage for adults with IDD. You will respond to medical needs, offer first aid and emergency care within certification scope, and collaborate with the campus team to ensure health and safety.

The role is PRN with hours based on campus coverage needs. Qualified candidates hold current EMT Basic certification in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of 1 year experience working with IDD adults.

Qualifications

• Maintain current EMT Basic certification in the state of residence.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with IDD Adults; Care Provider experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical needs and provide first aid and emergency care as trained.
• Transport residents to health care appointments and assist with medical transportation as needed.
• Maintain documentation and follow Breckenridge Village policies and procedures.
