Job summary

Breckenridge Village in Tyler, Texas, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse-PRN to provide short-term medical coverage for adults with IDD. The LVN-PRN will respond to medical needs, administer medications, and collaborate with BV staff to ensure health and safety on campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program.
• Three (3) year nursing experience preferred
• One (1) year experience with IDD Adults preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties as per Texas Board of Nursing guidelines for LVNs.
• Respond to injuries and illnesses during normal business hours.
• Evaluate health concerns and coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
• Manage medication ordering, delivery, and distribution with accurate MAR documentation.
• Maintain resident health records and real-time documentation within EMR.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff in a timely and professional manner.
