Job summary

Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA is seeking a sales-oriented professional to build trusted relationships with client families at the time of need or pre-need. You will present funeral and cemetery services, coordinate interment properties, and help families select the right options while complying with regulations.

Responsibilities include guiding families, generating referrals, and maintaining accurate paperwork and payments through the Business Office.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
• Prefer college degree or some college required.
• Proven track record of success in outside sales production strongly preferred.
• May require the possession (or ability to obtain) an insurance license as required by applicable state law.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with client families to meet needs at time of need or pre-need basis.
• Present merchandise and services to families and assist with interment and cemetery property decisions.
• Develop referrals and maintain relationships through aftercare appointments and community outreach.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies in all required documents and processes.
• Submit contracts and payments to the Business Office within required timelines.
• Report progress to Sales Manager and complete timely reports.
