Bethesda Senior Living Communities is seeking a Part-Time Care Partner for the Carrollton, TX community. The role involves compassionate resident care, assistance with daily living activities, and ensuring safety and dignity for all residents.

The position requires empathy, reliability, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, collaboration with health services, and active participation in resident activities and wellness

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to communicate with residents and staff.
• Must show compassion and genuinely care for the elderly and disabled.
• Knowledge of SDS sheets on hazardous materials and ability to understand guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload as emergencies arise.
• Able to work in stressful situations with residents, families, visitors, and other staff.
• Must maintain a current driver’s license and comply with Auto Policy requirements.
• Demonstrates a SERVANT heart and attitude by following the Mission Statement.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs and weighs residents.
• Assists with activities of daily living as per care plans.
• Admits new residents and coordinates doctor appointments.
• Assists in showers, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Provides meals and beverages and assists with meal orders.
• Communicates with Health Services Director, doctors, and families as needed.
