Job summary

InnovAge Driver – Participant Care provides transportation for frail and elderly participants from their homes to Day Centers and appointments, including field trips, and also delivers in-home meals and picks up supplies and medications. The role requires physical attendance at facilities or homes.

The schedule is Monday–Friday with some Saturday/holiday rotation; strong safety, lifting ability up to 75 pounds, and prior DOT/defensive driving experience are important.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Prior DOT and defensive driving experience preferred.
• Experience working with frail or elderly individuals is essential.
• Valid state CDL-B with Passenger endorsement is required or will be requested.

Responsibilities

• Drives InnovAge vehicles safely and follows routes and policies.
• Loads/unloads participants and assists into/out of homes.
• Transports participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Delivers in-home meals, supplies and medications to participants.
• Assists participants with basic tasks and maintains vehicle cleanliness and scheduling.
