Job summary

InnovAge Driver – Participant Care provides transportation for frail and elderly participants to Day Centers and appointments, including field trips. The role requires on-site attendance at InnovAge facilities or participant homes, with a rotating schedule including some Saturdays and holidays.

Primary duties include safe vehicle operation, assisting participants in and out of vehicles, and delivering meals, supplies, and medications.

Qualifications

• DOT and defensive driving experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly.
• High school diploma or GED, or one year of related experience may substitute.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive InnovAge vehicles following routes and policies.
• Load/unload participants and assist into/out of homes.
• Transport participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Deliver in-home meals, supplies, and medications to participants.
• Assist participants with outerwear and navigating spaces.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and assist in care planning discussions.
