Job summary

Rog Roslindale Adult Day in Boston, MA is seeking a Driver to transport participants safely to and from their homes and the program.

The role requires a valid MA driver’s license, a clean driving record, CPR/First Aid training, and ability to assist with transfers. You will work under the Transportation Manager and follow a pre-scheduled route while maintaining participant comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have valid and appropriate state driver’s license with safe driving record.
• CPR and First Aid training required.
• Experience working with elders and adults with impairments desirable.
• Experience driving a multi-passenger vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and comfortably transport participants to and from the Program and other locations per schedule.
• Ensure safety measures are followed during transport.
• Report participant changes or incidents to program staff.
• Maintain and operate vehicle, conduct routine checks and cleanliness.
• Plan transportation duties/routes to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with participants and caregivers in a courteous, confidential manner.
