Job summary

Sevita’s MENTOR Adult Day Health program in Brockton is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely move older adults and individuals with rehabilitation needs between homes, the day center, and community appointments. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday on a day shift with no evenings or on-call shifts.

Candidates must be fluent in English, hold a MA driver’s license for at least two years, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and provide vehicle registration and insurance.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Massachusetts driver’s license held for at least two years.
• Valid vehicle registration and insurance.
• Experience driving a 14-passenger van/bus or passenger transportation preferred.
• Must pass required background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport older adults and individuals with rehabilitation needs between homes, the day center, appointments, and community programs.
• Assist passengers with boarding, securing, and exiting the vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report maintenance or service needs.
• Support day program staff with participant care, activities, meals, and general assistance.
