Job summary

Ivy Park at Murrieta, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a compassionate Care Provider to assist residents with daily Living Activities in a supportive environment. You will follow care plans, assist with eating, bathing, grooming, mobility, and continence, while safeguarding dignity and privacy.

You'll respond quickly to residents' needs, communicate changes to supervisors, and promote teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests including TB.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living per care plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments
