Job summary

Ivy Park at Huntington Beach is seeking a dedicated Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence and comfort on our senior living campus. You will assist with eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence while safeguarding dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests incl. TB.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE requirements may be implemented per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate observed changes of condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers.
