Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Somerset, PA. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

The role offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement within a mission-driven company with 20+ years in the I/DD space.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to pass criminal background check, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence and confidence.
• Assist with meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skill development.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
