Job summary

Abound Health is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Morristown, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, enabling clients to live independently and with dignity.

Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting hours targets. We offer paid training, flexible schedules, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Experience with disabilities not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence and confidence at home, in the community, and at work.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
