Job summary

Oakmont of Redwood City, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a friendly Dishwasher to keep the kitchen clean and organized for meal service. You will transport dishes, wash and sanitize, and support a safe dining environment for residents and staff.

Qualified candidates have at least 6 months in a kitchen, are 18+, and can pass background checks and health screenings. We offer benefits, meal programs, and opportunities to grow within a respected senior living team in California.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen after meals; wash and sanitize; store properly.
• Assist with clean-up of the kitchen, dining areas, and related spaces.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
