Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in California is hiring a part-time Dishwasher. The role ensures dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen, cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly for service.

The position requires at least 6 months in a kitchen setting, being 18+, and completing background checks and health screenings as part of our safety standards. Eligible team members receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport all dishes to the kitchen; wash and sanitize; return to storage.
• Assist with breaking down the kitchen for clean-up and sanitation of dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a professional and caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
