Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to build trusting relationships with individuals, meet ISP goals, transport to activities, and document progress in a timely, confidential manner.

You will report to your QP and follow all policies and safety guidelines. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, good driving record, strong communication and organizational skills, and comfort with assisting with hygiene

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Training in Core Competencies.
• Valid driver’s license, own vehicle, and clean driving record.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and people skills.
• Ability to assist with hygiene and medical routines.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Individual information.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a trusting relationship with the Individual.
• Meet ISP goals and objectives in the ISP.
• Document progress and report incidents promptly.
• Provide transportation to activities per ISP.
• Communicate with the Qualified Professional regularly.
• Notify QP of illness, injury, or death.
• Maintain confidential records and complete daily notes within 72 hours.
• Attend ISP, SIS, and quarterly meetings.
• Sign off on MAR pages and PRN documentation.
• Ensure safety guidelines at all times.
