ELITE PERSONAL CARE is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to help individuals with daily living activities, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being. The role emphasizes strong communication, empathy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals, health monitoring, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Physical stamina to assist with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Aid mobility and transportation and help clients move safely.
• Support meal preparation and monitor dietary guidelines.
• Monitor and document health changes.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and keep schedules records.
• Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare providers about care plans and concerns.
