Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Charlotte seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional to build trusting relationships with individuals and meet ISP goals. You will document progress and report to your QP while ensuring safety and confidentiality at all times.

You will provide transportation to activities, assist with hygiene and medical routines, and participate in required trainings and meetings per state regulations and company policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Training in Core Competencies.
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle and good driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable assisting individuals with hygiene and medical routines.
• Strong organizational and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, positive relationships with individuals and meet ISP goals.
• Prevent disrespect, abuse, neglect, or exploitation; report any concerns promptly.
• Document the Individual’s progress and report incidents to the QP.
• Provide transportation to activities as required by the ISP.
• Communicate with QP regularly about care matters and state regulations.
