Job summary

Whole Life is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals in Waterford, Connecticut. This part-time role supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, focusing on daily living activities, independence, and community integration.

You will collaborate with managers, families, and care teams to implement personalized plans and promote client well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting care, administering medications, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Proof of High School diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• Proof of valid driver's license, SS card, birth certificate or passport.
• Ability to pass Background Check and health checks.
• Must be able to stand, lift up to 100 lbs, and perform ADLs.
• Must document care in English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and attend medical appointments.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment including light housekeeping.
• Engage clients in social activities and promote independence.
• Document daily activities and maintain client confidentiality.
• Implement individualized care plans with team support.
