Dungarvin is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and documenting progress in ISPs, with travel as needed and a focus on person-centered supports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household tasks, meals, budgeting, appointments, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Promote independence and person-centered supports.
• Support ISPs and document progress accordingly.
• Observe and communicate changes to supervisors and team.
• Transport individuals to appointments and events as needed.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation on regulatory requirements.
