Job summary

Dungarvin is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work directly with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living, promote independence, and help people participate in community activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household tasks, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and document progress.
• Promote independence and life skills per ISPs.
• Transport individuals to appointments and complete timely documentation.
• Observe changes and communicate with supervisors and team members.
