Dungarvin in the United States seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance verification.
• Basic computer skills for documentation/communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, housekeeping, meal prep, budgeting, appointments, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence and life skills development.
• Support ISPs and document progress accordingly.
• Observe and communicate changes to supervisors and team.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities as needed.
• Complete timely electronic documentation as required.
