Job summary

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver at Dungarvin provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The goal is to empower people to live as independently as possible while maintaining dignity and respect.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, starting pay of $10.00/hour, and a $500 sign-on bonus for select programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance

• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more
