Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license, SSN card, birth certificate, or passport required.
Ability to pass background and safety checks; TB test within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Must document care in English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal prep.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support medical appointments.
Maintain a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote independence.
Use mobility equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts) with proper techniques.
Document daily activities and incidents accurately.
Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
Implement individualized care plans.
