Job summary

Whole Life is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Connecticut. DSPs provide person-centered care to adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and supporting community integration.

Qualifications

• Proof of High School diploma, transcripts, or GED equivalent.
• Proof of valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and safety checks; TB test within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support medical appointments.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote independence.
• Use mobility equipment with proper techniques.
