Job summary

Abound Health in Grover, North Carolina is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently.

If you are compassionate, reliable, and seeking meaningful work, we’d love to meet you! Starting pay $15.40–$17 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting hours thresholds.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and case managers as needed
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
