Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving their quality of life. You will provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and skill-building opportunities in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, supporting community participation, documenting progress, and following individualized care plans while ensuring safety

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in caregiving or DSP preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in community integration and social activities.
Administer medication (if certified).
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
Implement individualized care plans.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
