Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living, community activities, and independent living goals. You will provide hands-on support, emotional encouragement, and safe, person-centered care.

Responsibilities include grooming, ADLs, documentation, and implementing care plans while maintaining a respectful, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or DSP role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
