Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring caregivers in Minnesota to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour and schedules vary, with 20+ hours per week typically available.

You’ll help participants with daily living, personal care, and community activities. A caring, patient attitude and reliable transportation are required. Sevita offers full benefits for full-time staff and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily living, personal hygiene, and community participation.
• Support participants in achieving personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real relationships and encourage independence.
• Collaborate with supervisors and the care team to ensure participant well-being.
• Document care activities and adherence to care plans.
