Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a caring caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Minnesota. This full-time role offers $18.50 per hour, with Monday-Thursday 7am-2pm and alternating weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday 7am-3pm).

You’ll help with personal hygiene, encourage participation in community activities, and support daily goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services or direct care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and achieve daily goals like budgeting, exercise and nutrition.
