Waystone Health & Human Services seeks a Direct Support Professional in Methuen, MA, to assist individuals with daily living activities in a group-home setting. The role includes ADL support, documentation, and transportation using a wheelchair-accessible van.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable.
• MAP certification is required within 6 months of employment.
• Strong reading, writing, and comprehension of English to follow care plans.
• Experience providing services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities: hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming.
• Transport individuals using wheelchair-accessible van to appointments and activities.
• Complete ISP and daily logs; track behavioral data.
• Administer medications as directed and document accordingly.
• Provide companionship, mentorship, and redirect challenging behaviors.
• Maintain safe, clean residential environment and uphold resident rights.
