Job summary

Ensign Services is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in all dietary functions and ensure quality nutrition services daily. You will support the Dietary Supervisor, Administrator and Dietitian while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary department.

The role covers meal service, portion control, basic food prep, and dishwashing, with on-the-job training provided and an emphasis on teamwork and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: None. On the job training provided.
• Certificates and Licenses: Food handlers permit required where state regulations apply.
• Other specific requirements: ability to read/write/speak English and interact professionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals on time and as needed.
• Maintain portion control and assist in food preparation tasks.
• Support cleaning duties and keep work areas clean and sanitary.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures and restock utensils.
