Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with daily food service operations in accordance with policies. You will review menus, prepare and serve meals, assist with snacks, and ensure sanitary standards are met in the kitchen and dining areas.

You will help maintain a clean work environment, handle supplies, and support residents with meals while following infection control precautions and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of food service areas.
• Be patient, cheerful and respectful toward residents.
• Willingness to adopt new food-service methods.
• Not pose a direct health threat to others.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals per planned menus and dietary orders.
• Ensure sanitation and safety in all food service tasks.
• Perform dishwashing and kitchen cleaning; keep utensils ready.
• Deliver snacks and meals; assist in food cart/tray service.
