Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service, ensuring residents receive nourishing options tailored to dietary needs. You’ll work with a lead Dietitian or Chef to deliver meals, monitor allergens, and maintain a clean dining area.

You will communicate effectively with residents and staff, follow safety protocols, and provide compassionate, patient-centered service in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and a valid Food Handler’s Permit.
• Experience in food service is preferred; ServSafe training is advantageous.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and staff and follow safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and meal service under supervision.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Set up and clear dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and health regulations.
• Perform cleaning duties as scheduled and needed.
• Provide friendly customer service during meals.
• Other duties as assigned.
