Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Illinois is seeking a part-time Dining Server to deliver courteous, efficient table service for residents and guests. You will uphold dining standards, assist with events, and support cost-control while ensuring a clean, welcoming dining area.

This role requires weekend availability every other weekend, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in dining or senior living preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred.
• Senior living experience strongly desired.
• Licensure preferred, ability to obtain if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with common digital tools, including Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, efficient table service and maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with catering, room service, events, and activities for residents.
• Follow recipes and menu details; communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Support cost-control by minimizing waste and maintaining supplies.
• Ensure dining areas reflect Cedarhurst’s standards and safety guidelines.
