Job summary

Distinctive Living seeks a Server to deliver quality dining experiences in our community dining room. The role spans either full-time or part-time shifts and reports to the Director of Restaurant and Hospitality.

You will help ensure menu accuracy, adapt to resident needs, and support a welcoming atmosphere during meals. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and excellent service as you engage with residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develops a positive customer service culture in the dining room through staff training.
• Ensures service maintains resident experiences during meals and balances quality with speed.
• Maintains a clean dining room and keeps equipment and linens in good condition.
• Ensures safe working practices and assists with injury investigations as needed.
• Fosters teamwork and a proactive approach among staff and residents.
