Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Server for our community restaurant to deliver exceptional dining experiences to senior residents. You will provide friendly, professional service during meals and events while meeting residents’ dietary needs and fostering an inclusive dining environment.

The role offers flexibility in scheduling, opportunities for growth, and a supportive team in a caring senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and portion sizes.
• Serve meals with a smile and maintain resident satisfaction.
• Set tables before meals with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables after meals and maintain cleanliness.
• Reset tables for the next service.
• Communicate resident feedback to the Culinary Director.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and Cogir standards.
• Comply with local health department regulations.
