Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Dining Room Server to deliver meals to residents with courtesy and accuracy on-site in Midlothian, Texas.

The role is a universal employee position, cross-trained to assist in other dining duties as directed by the Community Executive Chef and Management Team.

Candidates must meet state health requirements, maintain cleanliness, communicate effectively in English, and work well under time constraints in a busy dining room.

Qualifications

• Must meet state health-related requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work in a fast-paced dining room and adapt to cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents at table and takes orders.
• Delivers meals and beverages to tables and resident apartments as needed.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of dining area (tables, chairs, floors).
• Sets up tables for next meal and assists with side duties.
• Maintains food handlers permit and CPR/first aid certifications as required.
