Job summary

Ivory Wellness Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team in a SNF setting. Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility and will support food service operations with a focus on sanitation and resident care.

The role involves delivering meals, assisting with food prep, and maintaining clean service areas to ensure top-quality dining experiences for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand directions in English.
• Previous Food Service Aide experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reports at assigned time, in uniform, ready for duty.
• Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
• Is aware of safety regulations and responsibilities in operating all equipment.
• Delivers food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas, including resident rooms and dining room, as instructed by supervisor.
• Serve - in dining rooms;
• Prepare and deliver snacks as directed;
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures;
• Reports any discrepancies in his/her area to department supervisor;
• Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights;
• Performs related work as assigned.
