Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary specifications, assist with food prep, and maintain clean dining and kitchen areas with a strong focus on resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, positive resident interactions, and adherence to safety guidelines, with opportunities for hands-on training and growth. This is an on-site position in a care facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
