Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow standardized menus, assist with tray assembly, and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork with kitchen and caregiving staff, adherence to food safety guidelines, and a positive, caring attitude toward residents. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Good teamwork and communication with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
