Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our kitchen operations across post-acute healthcare facilities. You will learn food service routines, assist with meal tray setup, serving, and dishwashing, and help maintain sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read procedures and recipes. A food handlers' certificate is required; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with meal service and sanitation tasks.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain clean kitchen surfaces.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen and maintain floors.
• Assist in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
• Collaborate with staff across departments.
