Job summary

Axiom Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with all food functions per established policies. You will prepare and serve meals according to menus and standardized recipes, including special diets, and provide nutritious snacks for residents.

You will also maintain cleanliness, follow infection-control protocols, and assist with dishwashing, food carts, and tray delivery as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders.
• Prepare & serve residents nutritional bedtime snacks and substitute foods as needed.
• Maintain department cleanliness and sanitation; follow infection-control precautions.
• Deliver food carts and trays; assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning.
