Job summary

Huntington-Valley-Healthcare-Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service and kitchen sanitation. You will learn food service routines quickly, assist with meal tray assembly, serving, and dishwashing, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read procedures, and follow recipes. A food handlers’ certificate is required. This is a full-time position with standard healthcare facility shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to follow recipes and food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays according to planned menus.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving meals and nourishments.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain clean work surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen areas and refrigerators.
