Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. seeks a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during and after meals, maintain clean work areas, and support feeding and nourishment for residents. You will follow policies, handle safety, and help with meal service and dishwashing, while protecting confidentiality and dignity.

The role requires regular attendance, basic computer skills, reading/writing English, and ability to lift light to moderate loads. Training provided in infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have basic English literacy (read, write, speak).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Assist in serving meals and beverages.
• Prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in cleaning duties and maintain clean work areas.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control policies.
• Report hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Assist cook in meal preparation when needed.
• Escort residents safely during emergencies.
