Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with food prep, portion meals, and ensure dining areas are clean and safe. Customer service and positive interaction with residents and staff are essential.

This role may require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and adherence to food safety guidelines. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must comply with vaccination policies as required.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
