Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with dietary support on a nursing unit. You will help prepare and deliver meals, ensure adherence to diet cards and policies, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable follow-through, and effective communication with nursing staff. Training is provided and benefits are available; this is an on-site position in a long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures.
• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation.

• Ability to minimize waste of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to all food functions as directed.
• Ensure food procedures follow established policies.
• Prepare and deliver items to nurses’ station for med passes.
• Set up resident meal trays according to diets.
• Place items on trays at mealtime per menu or diet cards.
• Prepare sandwiches, juices, and meals per diet cards.
• Deliver trays to nursing floor and collect dishes.
• Break down trays and clean work areas per supervisor guidance.
• Take out trash and sanitize work areas.
