Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support resident nutrition and meal service on the nursing floor. You will assist with food preparation, tray assembly, and delivering meals, while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to dietary guidelines, responsive service to nursing staff and residents, and opportunities to assist in special meals and events.

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to teamwork concepts.
• Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to all food functions per policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver meals and snacks to residents per diet cards and schedules.
• Set up resident meals trays and ensure items are placed correctly.
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays on the nursing floor and manage dishwashing routine.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and proper storage of supplies.
• Answer nursing staff and resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist cooks with food preparation and substitutions as needed.
• Assist in special meals preparation for events or parties.
