Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, maintain sanitation, and ensure meals meet dietary requirements while delivering excellent resident service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety policies. Prior food service is helpful but not required, with opportunities for training and growth within a caring, community-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication with occupants and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Lifts up to 30 lbs, pushes/pulls up to 50 lbs, and can stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
