Deerfield Supportive Living is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our dining services team in Deerfield, IL. You will assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents while ensuring a warm, welcoming dining experience.

This role emphasizes compassion for older adults and high-quality service. The position requires strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 3.5 days per week and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong reading/comprehension of recipes and dietary instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and food service.
• Serve meals according to resident dietary needs and preferences.
• Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain a clean kitchen.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and supplies.
• Support inventory management and notify supervisors when stock is low.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
